Service Description
Ashtanga Short Form Short form is a condensed version of Ashtanga yoga for 75 minutes instead of the traditional 90. The condensed version creates a more accessible practice for those new to Ashtanga and the seasoned Ashtanga practitioner. Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional and dynamic style of yoga that is rooted in ancient practices. In an Ashtanga class, practitioners follow a set sequence of poses, which is designed to purify and strengthen the body, while cultivating a focused and calm mind. Each class begins with Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), progresses through a series of standing and seated postures, and culminates in a series of finishing postures. The class builds internal heat, endurance and flexibility.
