Service Description
In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of the Mysore method, including the importance of breath, movement, and the use of vinyasa (breath-synchronized movement) in building a dynamic flow. You'll be guided through key poses of the Ashtanga Primary Series, while receiving hands-on adjustments and personalized attention based on your individual needs. We will cover: The Mysore Method: Understanding the unique structure of self-practice within a group setting. The Ashtanga Primary Series: An overview of the foundational postures and their sequence. Breath and Bandhas: Introduction to the Ujjayi breath and the use of the Mula and Uddiyana bandhas to cultivate energy and stability. Adjustment & Alignment: Tips on proper alignment and how to receive hands-on adjustments that enhance your practice. Whether you're new to Ashtanga Yoga or have already practiced in a led class, this workshop will deepen your understanding of the Mysore method and give you the confidence to explore a self-paced practice in a supportive environment.
